Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

This policy explains what personal information GCE Market (“GCE,” “we,” “us”) collects through gcemarket.com, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. GCE sells refurbished semiconductor equipment and services to businesses. Almost everything we collect is business contact information you choose to send us.

1. Who is responsible

GCE Market, [street address], Blackwood, New Jersey 08012, USA, is the data controller for information collected through this site. Privacy questions: info@gcemarket.com.

2. What we collect

Information you give us. When you request a quote, schedule a demo, request parts or service, ask a question, or book an advisory call, we collect what you enter in the form: name, work email, phone, company, job title, country or region, and details about your equipment and requirements (model, wafer size, process, timeline, part numbers, message text). If you email or call us, we keep that correspondence.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, our hosting provider and analytics tools record standard technical data: IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device type, pages viewed, time on page, referring site, and the cookies described in section 6.

Company identification. We may use a visitor-identification service that matches the IP address of business visitors to a company name and region so we can see which organizations view which equipment. It identifies companies, not individuals.

What we don't collect. The site has no accounts, no checkout, and no payment fields. We don't collect payment details, government IDs, or sensitive personal data through the site, and we ask you not to send them via our forms.

3. Why we use it

  • To respond to your quote, demo, parts, service, or advisory request. Basis: steps taken at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in running the business.
  • To prepare quotations and, if you buy, fulfil the order and support the equipment. Basis: contract.
  • To screen enquiries and orders for export-control and sanctions compliance. Basis: legal obligation.
  • To keep a record of enquiries so we can follow up and support you over the life of the equipment. Basis: legitimate interest.
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it. Basis: your consent to analytics cookies.
  • To identify which companies are viewing our equipment. Basis: legitimate interest, or consent where required.
  • To send occasional updates about equipment, parts, or services to existing customers and people who have enquired. Basis: legitimate interest for business contacts, or consent where required. You can opt out at any time.
  • To protect the site and our systems from misuse. Basis: legitimate interest.

We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for automated decisions that have legal effects on you.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with providers who help us run the site and the business, under contracts that limit what they can do with it:

  • Website hosting: Webflow, Inc. (USA), with content delivery through Cloudflare.
  • Form handling and notifications: Webflow forms. Submissions are emailed to GCE and stored in our enquiry records.
  • Email and documents: Microsoft 365.
  • Analytics: web analytics tools (for example, Google Analytics), loaded only if you accept analytics cookies.
  • Company identification: a visitor-identification service, if enabled, loaded only if you accept marketing cookies.
  • Cookie consent: Finsweet Cookie Consent, which records your cookie choices.
  • Scheduling and video: the meeting and video tools we use when you book or view a demo.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to comply with export-control obligations, to protect GCE's rights, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business. Manufacturer names on the site are not recipients of your data.

5. International transfers

GCE is in the United States and your information is processed there. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another country with transfer rules, we rely on standard contractual clauses with our providers and on the fact that you are contacting a U.S. supplier at your own request. You can ask us for details of the safeguards in place.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

The site uses cookies and similar tools in the categories below. A consent banner lets you accept or decline each non-essential category, and you can change your choice at any time via the “Preferences” control on the page.

  • Essential. Needed for the site to work: security, form submission, remembering your cookie choices. Always on.
  • Analytics. Tell us which pages are viewed and how the site performs. Off until you accept.
  • Marketing. Used to identify visiting companies and to measure any advertising GCE runs. Off until you accept.

Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies may stop forms from working.

7. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries you send us: for as long as we are talking to you about the request, and then as part of our enquiry history for seven years, because equipment relationships and support run for a decade or more.
  • Customer and order records: for the life of the equipment relationship plus the period required by tax, accounting, and export-control rules.
  • Analytics data: per the retention setting of the analytics tool, typically no more than 26 months.
  • Cookie consent record: 12 months, then the banner asks again.

8. Security

Personal information is stored with providers that maintain industry-standard security (encryption in transit, access controls, audited data centers). Access inside GCE is limited to the people who need it to handle your enquiry or order. No internet transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee it, but we work to protect what you send us.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a copy in a portable format, withdraw consent (for example, to analytics cookies), and complain to a supervisory authority.

  • EEA and UK: these rights apply under the GDPR and UK GDPR. Your local data protection authority can take complaints.
  • California: you have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. GCE does not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
  • India: if you are a Data Principal under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may access, correct, and erase your data, withdraw consent, and raise a grievance with us; our grievance contact is in section 1.
  • Other regions: we honor comparable rights where local law provides them.

To exercise any right, email info@gcemarket.com. We may need to verify your identity. We respond within the time required by the law that applies to you, and in any case within 30 days.

10. Marketing choices

If you enquire or buy from us, we may send occasional emails about equipment, parts, or services relevant to your platform. Every message has an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us to opt out. Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional emails about an active enquiry, quotation, or order.

11. Children

The site is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

12. Changes to this policy

We will post updates here and change the “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you by email or a notice on the site.
